USB Input with 24 Bit / 192 kHz for VIOLECTRIC headphone amps (Tenor Chip-set)

The USB type-B input can be used to connect a PC or Smart-Phone.
will be automatically detected as an audio device.
The USB input is 2.0-compatible and needs a proprietary driver (for PC applications) which can be found here in the downlowd area.
Audio files are be sent to the headphone amp whereas audio formats up to 24 bit with 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4 and 192 kHz are supported.
This USB input supports the so called "asynchronous" mode.
This item is best suited for Windows applications. For MAC OS the USB X-Mos variant is recommended.

 - Mac OS-X "Yosemite" and "El Capitan" (upgrade required)
- Android devices from 5 upwards ("OTG" adaptor requiered)
- I-phones from 5 ("Lightning to USB 3 Camera-Adapter" requiered)

The USB circuitry directs the digital audio data to a high class D/A converter with 115 dB dynamic range and -103 dB THD+N. The D/A converter is followed by a sophisticated analog output circuitry for superb sound.

The USB input has priority over all other inputs and will mute these when valid data is received.
When the analog RCA connectors from the headphone amps are set to be outputs, here the converted data is also present.

In case of ordering a headphone amp and the digital input at the same time, the headphone amp will be delivered with the digital option installed in place.

Delivered afterwards, retrofitting is easily done and consists of pluging and screwing.
